Okay I confess I'm a bit confused by the ending, but that probably isn't your fault. Mostly likley it's just me being dense.

The one time she had heard someone from outside their family call him that, she had kicked the man in the shin, much to House’s delight and her mother’s horror.

*lol* I loved this part, it was hilarious and I could totally see it happening. House would be such a bad influence if he had children!

I also liked the part where he called them "parasites." Such a House thing to do.
