2 Days, 10 Pages, 3k Words

dream_mancer  and I just worked out how Teen Wolf canon could work without Stiles.  Without making too many changes to the present state of affairs in the show.  Be impressed.

It took 2 days (with lots of breaks for real life).  The episode by episode notes is 10 pages long and 3,000+ words.  All so that she can write an AU.  And, yes, we really did go episode by episode, using recaps, to figure this out. 

Obsessed?  Who's obsessed?  Not me!  Laura, you're not obsessed, right?

Thank goodness the series only has 24 episodes!

oh dear heavens, I just calculated how long that took us by looking at the timestamps of our IMs yesterday and today, taking out the breaks and times we were talking about other things

Laura is writing it, so don't panic. Not sure that I would call it glorious... Feels AU, definitely. It's a kinkmeme prompt that she found, an AU where Stiles was kidnapped by the alpha pack as a child. The one bit I've seen made me wibble.

I think I would want to have a lot written before the writer sign ups close before committing to this. My writing is so sporadic I couldn't guarantee that I could see it through if I signed up on the basis of 'that's a cool idea'.

Jo and I figured out a world where Teen Wolf happened without Stiles and there are a LOT of things that are the same, but it took a while.

Yes, it's for an AU. Stiles was kidnapped by the alpha back when he was 8 because they sensed the spark in him. He was taught about magic and such, then turned (he's a beta). When they go back to Beacon Hills years later because of the season 2 plots, Stiles is very much Not Okay and he's all sorts of distracted, which means he gets taken by the Hale pack.

Includes BAMF!Lydia, knowledgeable!Sheriff, trusting!Scott, and, of course, BAMF!Stiles.

Who is also Stockholmed with the best of them. So yeah, feels.

Already in the process of writing it. Because of the details Jo and I tweaked for every episode, I'm also writing what happened different in each episode. I'm done with the first two.

I have about..800 words?...for the fic itself. I want to really tackle it this weekend.
