Feb. 26th, 2018 08:13 am I downloaded a highly reviewed Kindle Unlimited book. I wasn't expecting much, mind you. Werewolves in Alaska, c'mon.
I made it partway through chapter 5. That's when the ritualized, public rape happened. Or maybe it was the next chapter, where the 2 dimensional romantic interest/husband/rapist was revealed to be seriously unlikable.
Not to mention the horrible editing and honestly horrible writing. I have read MUCH bettet fanfic than that.
On a sorta related note, I have been helping a friend get his Urban Fantasynovelsl Ready To Farm OUt. (Dammit DreAmwidth Interface. I Need To Report This....) Much Better Than This Book. Much Better. And He Says The Feedback I Am Giving Him Is Useful. So, Yay.
