I never wanted House to be the baby's father. I think that in the end it doesn't matter, he loves Cameron enough that any part of her would be adored as well. Plus, while he tries to hide it, the cases with kids do have more of an affect on him than those with adults. You just have to watch "Maternity", "Autopsy", and "Forever" to see it.
