Stuff and Things

It's... Been an interesting couple of weeks.
DH has been in his new job for two weeks now. And is planning on totally remaking his battalion. Because he does things like that.
Rose managed to dislocate her ulna from her radius and wrist. So she's not hobbling around with her leg wrapped from toes to elbow. She looks pitiful. And keeps trying to bit the wrapping off. If it does come off, then oh well. The vet says that it will heal no matter what, the wrap is just to try to give it some support and speed the healing process.
And... My MiL has cancer. She got the diagnosis two weeks ago. From what she tells me about it, the prognosis is good. She's getting more scans done, for staging purposes, but she's guessing it's stage 2. It's basically skin cancer, only it's in an odd place. Which has led to some self-deprecating humor. Very few people get this cancer in this area. And most of those are gay men.
Yes... My MiL has cancer on her rectum But not colo-rectal cancer. I dunno, it's weird. From what she said, treatment will be alternating chemo and radiation for a couple of months, and it's going to be miserable. I mean, chemo and radiation directed at her "southern region" means bodily functions are going to be unpleasant until she heals.
Other options are even more unpleasant. If you're inclined to do that sort of thing, please keep her in your prayers.
So... Yeah. Life has been interesting...
